Established in 2010, Cindy Schulze Jewelry is a boutique jewelry line consisting of designs made with 14K gold, 14K gold-filled, sterling silver, and oxidized sterling silver metal often accompanied with precious & semi-precious gemstones and diamonds. In 2014 we extended the collection to incorporate personalized pieces in which we offer an array of monogram, initial, and nameplate jewelry in the same variety of metals. Our diverse collection involves handcrafting pieces from scratch (metal forming, soldering and manipulation), to putting together and decorating pre-fabricated findings, to our very own sketched and manufactured designs. Everything we sell has been given our touch -- whether hammering and drilling metal, engraving a piece of jewelry, adding our own stones, or simply selecting a specific style of chain for a curated charm.
Cindy's business began after taking a wire-wrapping jewelry class for fun and then moving into intensive metal-smithing, wax design, casting, and stone setting courses. Cindy believes that before being able to design her own authentic line of jewelry she had to be able to understand the various processes that go into jewelry production -- she is also fascinated with the myriad of tools and techniques used in those processes (both ancient and new) and has collected a studio full of such equipment in which she refers to as her Happy Place. Cindy enjoys designing simple, delicate, everyday staples that can be worn from day to night and across all seasons, as well as one-of-a-kind statement pieces. With Cindy's "Less is More" fashion philosophy and love for nature, our tagline has become Keep It Simple. Keep It Real. All of our handcrafted jewelry is made with love in our Houston-based studio.
In 2015 Cindy gifted her jewelry backstage at the Billboard Music Awards, a three-day event in which numerous swag bags were given away to music stars and celebrity presenters. CSJ was also featured on Houston's FOX 26 to promote the Houston Winter Holiday Art Market's 10th anniversary. Most recently Cindy Schulze Jewelry can be seen in the 2016 July, August & September issues of British Vogue and the 2016 September/October issue of UK's Brides Magazine.
